NICKI MINAJ IS SHOOTING BACK UP THE BILLBOARD SOCIAL 50 CHARTS "THE WEB IS CRAZY ABOUT NICKI"

Nicki Minaj ** is getting super social on the Billboard Social 50 chart, as the hip-hop diva flies from No. 16 to No. 10 -- her visit to the top 10 since the Dec. 24 tally when she ranked at No. 8. She saw a 17% gain in Twitter followers in the tracking week and an 19% rise in YouTube views. The Social 50 chart's rankings are determined by activity monitored on YouTube, Vevo, Facebook, Twitter, MySpace and iLike, using a formula that blends weekly additions of friends/fans/followers along with weekly artist page views and weekly song plays. Credit the buzzworthy move up the chart to a trio of watercooler-worthy singles that are making waves at the moment. First, her own "Stupid Hoe" has been making eyeballs do a double-take since its upload to YouTube on Jan. 20. So far, the hyperactive clip has collected 23 million views on the site. This week, the single rises from No. 81 to No. 59 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart. Meanwhile, her collaboration with David Guetta on "Turn Me On" is a monster hit on top 40 radio and threatening the top slot on the Hot 100 chart. On the Pop Songs chart (known as Mainstream Top 40 on billboard.biz) it jumps from No. 14 to No. 10, while on the Hot 100 it is bulleted at No. 5 and should move higher next week. The song's official video premiered on Jan. 31 and has racked over 4 million views. Finally, Minaj is featured on Madonna's new single "Give Me All Your Luvin'" (along with M.I.A.). Both the song and its music video debuted on Feb. 3. Minaj is slated to perform with Madonna during the halftime show of the Super Bowl on Sunday, Feb. 5. Also making big jumps on the chart are Katy Perry (12-3), LMFAO (21-6) and Michael Jackson (31-9). Perry had an 11% gain in Facebook fans last week and recently achieved her sixth No. 1 from the "Teenage Dream" album on the Pop Songs chart (known as Mainstream Top 40 on billboard.biz). Madonna Releases "Give Me All Your Luvin'" Video Like Minaj, LMFAO is scheduled to take the stage with Madonna on Super Bowl Sunday. Meanwhile, the duo's latest single, "Sorry for Party Rocking," debuts at No. 92 on the Hot 100 this week. Michael Jackson was in the news last week thanks to his induction into the forecourt to the stars at Grauman's Chinese Theater in Hollywood (Jan. 26). His three children were on hand to imprint one his gloves, along with a pair of his shoes, into the cement in front of the famed movie house. As for the rest of the chart's top 10, Adele is steady at No. 1 while Shakira climbs 4-2 and Justin Bieber falls 2-4. Rihanna's up 6-5, Pitbull slips 5-7 and David Guetta falls 7-8.
