HERE IS THE LINK FOR WHITNEY HOUSTON'S FUNERAL TOMORROW

Houston’s family has agreed to allow the Associated Press to stream her private funeral on Saturday at the New Hope Baptist Church in Newark, the news service said. The link is livestream.com/aplive. Gospel singer and family friend Marvin Winans will give the eulogy, while Aretha Franklin and Stevie Wonder will sing at the service, before she is buried at Fair View Cemetery in Westfield. Though officials had discussed the possibility of a public memorial at the Prudential Center in Newark, the Houston family has ruled this out. Gov. Chris Christie has defended a plan to fly the state and American flags in New Jersey at half-staff on Saturday in Ms. Houston’s honor, tweeting that he was doing so in recognition of “her cultural contributions as an artist & New Jerseyan. Christie did the same thing last year in honor of Clarence Clemons.

JANET JACKSON IS FLIRTING WITH BEING A X FACTOR JUDGE

Just one week after The Hollywood Reporter broke news that Whitney Houston was under consideration for a judge's seat on the show, reports have surfaced that another pop icon is throwing her hat in the ring. After an awkward interaction with Anderson Cooper on Thursday, in which Jackson tiptoed around the subject, sources tell THR the singer has expressed interest in joining the show.

"Oh my God," the 45-year-old said on-air with a laugh. "No, I'm not a judge on The X Factor." "You're not currently a judge on The X Factor," responded Cooper.

"No, I am not," said Jackson. "But that's all I really think I should say." Any talks are currently in the preliminary stages, as Simon Cowell holds meetings this week with potential candidates to fill the shoes of ousted judges Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger and host Steve Jones. Another source tells THR that pop bad girl Pink is high on Cowell's wish list. The singer, whose real name is Alicia Moore, has credibility, Grammy awards and sass, plus "she can take on Simon." Cowell also has acknowledged an interest in "I Kissed a Girl" singer Katy Perry, telling Extra, "I worked with Katy once. I think she would be fun because she is hard - in a good way - and she's feisty." "She would be great," he continued. "In terms of experience, success … brilliant."

LIL KIM GIVES HER FEEDBACK ON NICKI MINAJ'S "STUPID HOE" BUZZ SINGLE

Lil Kim ** dodged several Nicki Minaj ** related questions when on Bravo's "Watch What Happens Live" show, Wednesday night (Feb. 15). That is until host Andy Cohen asked what she felt of the Young Money rapstress' buzz single, "Stupid Hoe." Nicki Minaj Gets Colorful in 'Stupid Hoe' Video "I' pretty sure I feel the same way everybody else feels right about now," Kim said. "If you have to make a song called 'Stupid Hoe,' you must be a stupid hoe." Is Nicki Minaj Throwing Shots at Lil Kim on 'Stupid Hoe' Single? Word on the 'net was that Nicki, through her alter ego Roman Zolanski, was throwing shots herself on "Stupid Hoe." "Stupid hoe is my enemy/ Stupid hoe is so wack/ Stupid hoe should have be-friended me/Then she could have probably came back," Nicki Minaj rhymes. Was she talking about Lil Kim? Just a day before her appearance on "Watch What Happens Live" (Feb. 14), Lil Kim released an auto-tune plead, "If You Love Me." Kim takes a note from Maino **'s "That Could Be Us," comparing her own relationship with Beyoncé ** and Jay-Z **'s.

NICKI MINAJ MAKES QUITE A FEW CATHOLICS MAD WITH HER GRAMMY PERFORMANCE

Nicki Minaj **'s 2012 Grammys onstage exorcism yesterday (Feb. 12), left most people one of three: confused, blown away or offended. The Catholic League issued a statement of the rapstress' performance that leaves no doubt to which one of those three categories they belong to. According to the Gothamis [Link]t, Bill Donahue of the Catholic League expressed his organization's displeasure: "Perhaps the most vulgar part was the sexual statement that showed a scantily clad female dancer stretching backwards while an altar boy knelt between her legs in prayer." Later in the statement, Donahue faulted The Recording Academy for giving Minaj's performance the green light. "None of this was by accident, and all of it was approved by The Recording Academy, which puts on the Grammys. Whether Minaj is possessed is surely an open question, but what is not in doubt is the irresponsibility of The Recording Academy. Never would they allow an artist to insult Judaism or Islam." Minaj's performance of her single "Roman Holiday" included a pretaped segment of a mock exorcism that began with her singing a manic version of "I Feel Pretty" to her reflection. The live set had dancing monks and priests dancing with and around a horizontal Minaj levitating high above the stage ato ne point.

T-Pain Talks Charity Concert, '5 O'Clock' Grammy Snub

Between promoting his latest album "rEVOLVEr," hosting another benefit concert in his native Tallahassee this March and participating in Guitar Center's "Your Next Record" program, T-Pain ** is in store for a hectic 2012. Yet as the Grammy Awards approach this weekend, the rapper-turned-singer is looking back -- and trying to figure out how his latest hit, "5 O'Clock" featuring Wiz Khalifa ** and Lily Allen **, didn't earn any nominations. "We made the deadline for this year -- I definitely made sure of that," T-Pain tells Billboard.com about submitting "5 O'Clock," which peaked at No. 10 on the Hot 100, for Grammy consideration. "The weird thing was, stat-wise and chart-wise, this is one of the biggest songs I've ever made. It's huge, and the crazy thing is, I have zero Grammy nominations. But when I didn't have songs of this caliber I was getting four or five a year. That's the only weird thing about the song that confuses me, but hey, whatever." Still, T-Pain remains in good spirits -- after all, the hip-hop/R&B artist has a pair of Grammys, one for Kanye West **'s "Good Life" and another for Jamie Foxx **'s "Blame It." Now, Pain has used his knack for collaboration to wrangle the talent for Come To The Crib 2, a benefit concert in conjunction with his newly launched "If I Could Change the World" charity at the Tallahassee Leon County Civic Center on Mar. 31. Chris Brown **, DJ Khaled **, Ace Hood ** and more will perform at the event, which follows 2007's sold-out Come To The Crib concert. Exclusive: T-Pain Launches Charity with Hometown Benefit Concert "I really do feel good about doing it," says T-Pain about the concert. "I was just putting the word out… I literally just sent a mass text from my phone [to different artists] and I was like, 'Yo, I need you. Please do this for my city. I would do this for you any day.' So anybody who responded I just had to confirm it, then boom." T-Pain has also been tapped to be a part of Guitar Center's "Your Next Record" artist discovery program: unsigned artists will submit original tracks through the contest, and the most promising candidate will have their single produced and written by T-Pain in a unique studio experience. Previous participants in the program include Slash ** and Travis Barker **. "I just want to give somebody a chance and show them how this life is, and really get them into the game the way they deserve it," says T-Pain. "If the music is good, then they have no choice but to get on. It's God's will that they get on so I'm just giving them a path, I'm giving them a way to really make it the way they really deserve." T-Pain is currently on the road with Gym Class Heroes ** on the Snowstorm Music Tour, which heads to Dekalb, Ill. on Friday night (Feb. 10).

NEW FLO RIDA "WILD ONES" VIDEO

If the "Wild Ones" music video proves anything, it's that Flo Rida **'s means of transportation are infinitely cooler than our own. The Florida rapper travels to various locations around Dubai in the most extreme way possible for the clip, which sadly does not feature an appearance by Australian pop star Sia **. "I like crazy, foolish, stupid/Party going wild, fist-pumping music," Flo raps while chilling on a fan boat, seconds after he is shown jumping out of a plane and skydiving with his buddies. Later he's describing his wildness on a hovercraft, then he's tearing up some dirt in a dune buggy. But when the sun goes down and the ladies come out, Flo Rida gleefully returns to his musical birthplace: the club. While "Good Feeling," Flo Rida's first single from the forthcoming "Only One Rida (Part 2)," climbs back to No. 3 on the Hot 100, "Wild Ones" leaps 23 spots to No. 77 this week. "Only One Rida," of course, follows 2010's "Only One Flo."

SUGE KNIGHT GETS CAUGHT UP IN LAS VEGAS (WEED & TRAFFIC VIOLATIONS)

Rap music mogul Suge Knight has a date with a Las Vegas judge after he was arrested on traffic warrant and misdemeanor drug charges. Officer Laura Meltzer says the 46-year-old former Death Row Records executive was stopped driving a black Bentley with California plates around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday on a street just off Flamingo Road west of the Las Vegas Strip. Knight was accused of making an unsafe lane change and possession of less than one ounce of a controlled substance and released from jail without bail. He's due March 12 in Las Vegas Municipal Court. 20 Smokin' Songs About Weed * Attorney David Chesnoff has represented Knight in previous Las Vegas cases. He wasn't immediately available for comment. Celebrity website TMZ first reported the arrest. It says Knight had marijuana with him in the car.

CHRIS BROWN TO REMAIN ON PROBATION FOR NOW

Chris Brown ** has been getting attention for all the right reasons lately, but a judge said Thursday that he should continue to remain under the watchful eye of a probation officer as he works to complete the terms of his sentence for beating then-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009. The Grammy-nominated R&B singer did not appear for a brief hearing during which his attorney asked that Brown's term on supervised probation be ended because of his good behavior. Superior Court Judge George Lomeli agreed with prosecutors that despite the singer's high marks so far, he should continue to report to a probation officer in his home state of Virginia. Brown is in the midst of a remarkable comeback, with the singer set to perform at the Grammy Awards on Sunday night. His multi-hit album, "F.A.M.E. (Forgiving All My Enemies) was a top seller and he is nominated for three Grammys, including best R&B album. Attorney Mark Geragos' request came after Brown's probation officer wrote in a report that the singer has been truthful with officers, passed all required drug tests and "has made great strides" while under probation supervision. He has completed half of the six months' worth of roadside cleanup, graffiti removal and other manual labor that he was ordered to do after pleading guilty to attacking Rihanna. Brown was ordered to serve five years on probation. The favorable probation report was written three years to the day after the attack, which left Rihanna bloody, bruised and unable to perform at the Grammys. Lomeli said he didn't think it was unreasonable for Brown to remain under supervision until he completes more of his community service hours. Brown has completed anger management and domestic violence counseling, and last year another judge relaxed a restraining order that had prohibited Brown and Rihanna from contacting each other or getting too close at music industry events. The judge scheduled another progress hearing for July 10.

NICKI MINAJ SPEAKS ON THE GRAMMYS, AND A NBA ALL STAR PERFORMANCE

Ballers want to be rappers, and rappers want to be ballers. Minaj will hit the 54th Annual Grammy Awards with a new song. Nicki will give the Barbz a preview of "Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded" (April 3) when she performs a never before heard track, titled, "Roman Holiday." The song will go on-sale immediately after the telecast. Aside from her performance, Minaj is up for four Gammys including Best New Artist and Best Rap Album. The day after her big Grammy night (Feb, 13), Ryan Seacrest will premiere Minaj's newest single, "Starships." Fans can download the track on iTunes the same day. Nicki Minaj will wrap up a busy February with a performance at the 2012 NBA All-Star Game in Orlando on Feb. 26th. M.I.A. COULD END UP PAYING FCC FINE FOR THE MIDDLE FINGER STUNT

Free Image Hosting If the FCC levies a fine for M.I.A. **'s Super Bowl bird, the musician will be stuck with the bill, according to TMZ [Link]. M.I.A. reportedly signed a contract with the NFL that indemnifies the NFL against such fines -- while the NFL in turn has indemnified NBC, which aired the broadcast. The Super Bowl's most FCC fine, a $550,000 charge to CBS over Janet Jackson's 2004 wardrobe malfunction, was thrown out by Philadelphia's 3rd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in November. Madonna's Super Bowl Performance was Twitter's Top Event Sunday's performance was watched by 114 million viewers, making the Super Bowl XLVI the most-watched television program in U.S. history. The performance helped boost sales of Madonna **'s new single, which stand at over 100,000 downloads so far, according to industry sources, as well as her "Celebration" greatest hits album and other releases. NBC and the NFL apologized for M.I.A.'s middle finger on Monday, with NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy stating, "The obscene gesture in the performance was completely inappropriate, very disappointing and we apologize to our fans."

CHRIS BROWN IS BACK IN THE GOOD GRAMMY GRACE.

THE RETURN OF CHRIS BROWN: Chris Brown and Rihanna will perform—though not together--at this Sunday's Grammy Awards, the event where his career was seriously derailed three years ago, according to Associated Press, though no official announcement has been made by the Recording Academy. Brown admitted to assaulting his then-girlfriend in 2009 after the two attended Clive Davis’ Saturday night pre-show soiree. Brown bounced back from the incident to release one of his most successful albums, F.A.M.E. (Forgving All My Enemies), which is nominated for three Grammys this year, including Best R&B Album. Rihanna is up for four awards, including Album of the Year for Loud. Both were also scheduled to perform at the 2009 show, but that changed after Brown allegedly attacked the pop singer in their limo. He hasn’t attended the awards show since. A judge eased a restraining order last February after an attorney for Rihanna said she didn't object to removing the provisions. The former order required Brown to stay 50 yards away from 23-year-old Rihanna, but the restriction was reduced to 10 yards if they were at a music industry event. HITS will be on hand to measure the distance between the two.

MONICA & BRANDY BACK TOGETHER AGAIN ON NEW SINGLE! "IT ALL BELONGS TO ME"

Finally! Brandy ** and Monica ** reunite fourteen years after their Hot 100 No. 1, "The Boy Is Mine." On "It All Belongs To Me," produced by Rico Love, the R&B femmes join forces to kick their wrong-doing lovers to the curb, making sure they sure as hell don't leave with any of their own belongings. " I know you mad, can't take no more/ But put that back, that ain't yours/ Have a fit, slam the door but leave them bags on the floor/ That shit belongs to me…" Brandy sings. "It All Belongs to Me" will appear on both of the singer's albums, similar to "The Boy Is Mine." The collaboration will appear on Monica's sixth studio album, "New Life," (March 6) and Brandy's yet-to-be titled album also slated for March, 2012.

EXTENDED VERSION OF X FACTOR WINNER PEPSI COMMERCIAL

WHO WON BIG THIS WEEKEND AT THE BOX OFFICE?

YOUR WEAKEND BOX OFFICE RECAP: The theatrical box office was surprisingly strong over Super Bowl weekend, up almost 33% from last year, with a pair of overperforming genre films, Fox’s Chronicle and CBS Films’ The Woman In Black topping the tally less than $300k apart, with grosses of $22 million and $21m, respectively, attracting an impressive young audience. The sci-fi thriller Chronicle played on 2,907 theaters, while the Daniel Radcliffe-starring comeback from U.K.’s famed horror studio Hammer Films screened on 2,855. Third place went to last week’s top-finisher, Open Road’s hungry like a wolf movie, The Grey, with Liam Neeson ($9.5 million for a two-week cume of $34.6 million), followed by Universal’s save-the-whale saga, Big Miracle, with John Krasinski and Drew Barrymore, which did a very disappointing $8.1 million, not a great haul for the $40 million production, to finish #4. Rounding out the Top 5 was Sony’s 3D vampire saga, Underworld Awakening, which did $5.5 million in its third week for a cume of $54.3 million.

FLASH MOB TAKES OVER TIMES SQUARE IN HONOR OF DON CORNELIUS

Fans of "Soul Train" boogied down Broadway wearing afro wigs and bell bottoms on Saturday while others recounted their favorite episodes at a Harlem meeting hall in tribute to the show's late creator, Don Cornelius. About 100 dancers descended on Times Square in a "flash mob" organized through the Internet. As startled tourists looked on, they recreated one of the show's "Soul Train lines" in which people would take turns dancing toward a TV camera while showing off their most outrageous moves. "Don Cornelius was a big influence in my life, and I just wanted to pay tribute," said disc jockey Jon Quick, as he held up a speaker blasting disco grooves. "He was playing the music that nobody else wanted to play. He was an amazing man." Cornelius, 75, died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound on Wednesday. He had suffered from health problems, a difficult divorce, and had pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor spousal battery charge in 2009. But on Saturday fans praised Cornelius' vision in creating, hosting and selling "Soul Train" to television stations that were originally skeptical about programming aimed at blacks. The show aired from 1971 to 2006. "Don Cornelius brought soul to the whole world," said Ramona Hamm, 37, who came to Times Square with her 9-year-old daughter, Kayla Charles. The dancers bounced down Broadway for about 45 minutes until police told the party to disperse.

THE 10 BEST CHOICES TO REPLACE PAULA & NICOLE FOR X FACTOR JUDGES

With two empty seats to fill at the "X Factor" judges table, we thought we would help Simon Cowell by providing a few suggestions about who should fill those seats. 'X Factor' Exorcism: Paula Abdul & Nicole Scherzinger Out Rather than just pulling a list of random, unrealistic names out of the air ( Madonna **? Too expensive. Lady Gaga **? Be serious.), we created a set of criteria that each potential judge would need to fulfill. The show will want to keep the same gender split of two men and two women, so no fellas (though Andre 3000 would definitely bring some swagger to the show). Gone are the days of hiring unknown entities, so no one-hit wonders, British unknowns or girl-group members with solo careers stuck in limbo. And the candidate should be a recognizable star, but have enough time on her hands to devote to a full TV season. With all that said, we narrowed down the field to 10 artists we think would do well seated between Cowell and L.A. Reid on season two of Fox's "X Factor." Donna Summer Pro: A guest judge of Bravo's "Platinum Hit," the disco queen would bring credibility, presentation skills and a recognizable voice. Con: She's got a great history behind her, but will a young audience just see her as out of date? Dixie Chicks' Natalie Maines Pro: The Dixie Chicks ** lead singer has proven she can speak her mind and stick to her guns. Recent Grammy wins indicate industry support, and the pop path of the last album demonstrates the Chicks are more than just a country trio. Con: We're not sure the South has forgiven her for dissing Pres. Bush in 2003. Mary J. Blige Pro: She's a bona fide superstar, still relevant as a recording artist, won raves as an "American Idol" guest judge, and her work in film and TV continues to impress. Con: Does the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul have enough pop appeal to pull in big ratings? Janet Jackson Pro: Her celeb factor through the roof and, let's face it, she needs something to spark interest in her music career again. It's easy to picture her as a nurturing mentor who understands presentation better than nearly anyone. Con: Is the soft-spoken Janet ** capable of giving harsh criticism to the contestants who deserve it? Alicia Keys Pro: With a new baby, the show would offer her a chance to stay put in one place for a while. And when the time is right, Keys ** could use TV to premiere new music to the American mainstream. Con: Will Keys' laidback persona make for juicy TV moments? We can't see her engaging in quibbling with Simon, a la Paula. Faith Hill Pro: Remember her? A lot of America does and she would fill a void at the table - country-pop - while adding a light-hearted spirit to the judging. Con: Next to her, Cowell would come off more mean than usual. Oprah Pro: Oprah's much-missed talk show was a powerful force when it came to generating music sales. Plus, she needs a vehicle to get people to watch her new network, OWN, which has not generated the expected viewership. Con: It's hard to imagine Oprah playing second fiddle to anyone, especially Simon. Pink Pro: The spunky songstress is still a head-turning hit-maker, understands pop music theatrics, and has a great look for the tube. Con: Some people still see her as a poor man's Aguilera **, which won't help the show's "Voice" comparisons. Fergie Pro: If the day comes when the Black Eyed Peas ** are not the biggest band in pop, a TV show would be a great vehicle to whet an audience's appetite for Fergie **'s second solo album. Con: Will.i.am ** might get jealous of all her attention. Mariah Carey Pro: She's the obvious choice. Her name has been rumored more than any other possible judge and a TV show with Reid (the man who revived her career) and Cowell (apparently a friend) would make total sense. Con: From a publicity and potential ratings standpoint? Uh, none!

THE BIGKeithMixshow BLACK HISTORY MONTH DAILY HONORS ((MAJOR GENERAL MARCIA ANDERSON "FIRST & HIGHEST RANKING BLACK FEMALE"))

Maj. Gen. Marcia Anderson might never have gotten involved with the U.S. Army if she hadn’t needed a science credit at Creighton University in Omaha, Neb. She was wandering through a gym considering booths advertising classes when she saw one for military science. She asked the man attending the booth whether the class counted as a science credit. It did. About 30 years later, Anderson stood in front of soldiers, politicalofficialsandarea residents and was promoted as the first black woman to become a major general in the Army. “Most of this was unplanned, but I firmly believe that we are never really in control of our lives anyway,” she said. A promotion and departure ceremony in her honor took place Thursday at Fort Knox to celebrate her elevation from brigadier generaltothetwo-starrank. Anderson’s duties have included helping to guide the Base Realignment and Closure process and redesigning the Human Resources Command website since coming to Fort Knox last September. Following her promotion, she’ll serve as deputy chief of the Army Reserve with duty at the Pentagon. She plans to leave Fort Knox today. Anderson, who lives in Verona, Wis., when not on active duty, credits the barrier-challengers who came before her with allowing her to make Army history by assuming her new rank. She named soldiers who fought during the Civil War and the Tuskegee Airmen among those who have helped make her promotion possible. Anderson said her father, Rudy Mahan of Beloit, Wis., was among those held back by race yet he never stopped believing in the United States and potential possibilities for all Americans. He drove trucks for the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II and was not able to achieve his goal of flying bombers because of his race, she said. Her father had run off to the barbershop to tell all his friends within 15 minutes of hearing in May that she was nominated for the promotion, she said. “Today is for him, my mother, my ancestors and countless others who were disappointed and saw their dreams deferred,” she said. Anderson said she strives for excellence, which requires attributes such as being flexible, working well with people and living out her principles. “You can’t expect to be praised when you show up on time, do what you’re supposed to do and leave at the same time every day because that is only ‘C’-grade work,” she said. Lt. Gen. Benjamin Freakley, commanding general of Army Accessions Command at Fort Knox, praised Anderson, saying she has touched and encouraged thousands of people as she has built a remarkable career. “She’s a teammate, which means she works with the team,” he said. “She’s on the team, but she’s also a team player. I guess the biggest thing for me, Marcia, is that you’re a role model.” Audience members burst into applause as Freakley described a time during which he saw Anderson explaining to young people about her work in the Army and how proud she is to serve. “You could see it,” he said. “It was palpable, her influence on those young people.” Freakley said Anderson’s promotion is richly deserved. More applause and whoops filled the area as Maj. Gen. Gina Farrisee, commanding general for Army Human Resources Command at Fort Knox, said Anderson’s outgoing nature, determination and professionalism qualify her for the historic honor. “You will see it in the history books and you can say that you were here,” she said.

DRAKE GETS SLAPPED WITH A LAWSUIT FOR "MARVINS ROOM" BY EX GIRLFRIEND OVER HER VOICEMAIL MESSAGE

Last year, Drake ** released a song, "Marvin's Room," that quickly went viral and prompted various remixes by fellow artists intrigued by the depiction of a young woman on a phone call as the rapper drunkenly croons, "You could do better." Now, Ericka Lee, revealing herself to be Drake's ex-girlfriend, has stepped up, saying she was the voice on the other end of the phone call. The woman is now suing Drake for excluding her from sharing co-writer royalties on one of his biggest recent hits. Lee filed the lawsuit on Thursday (Feb. 2) in California federal court claiming the two had a romantic and business partnership between early-2010 and mid-201. During the relationship, the two are said to have traded poems and song lyrics and discussed joint creative projects. Last year, Drake allegedly agreed to work with Lee on "Marvin's Room" and split the proceeds. Lee says she was asked to record the song's "hook" as well as the opening monologue that would serve as the thematic framework for a song about Drake's yearning for an ex-girlfriend and how his fame interfered with his love life. "Plaintiff's contribution is highly significant to the overall work," says the complaint. Drake supposedly acknowledged Lee's contributions in text messages sent to her. One read, "U basically made that song." Another read, "It's s--t without you." Drake purportedly gave Lee credit as a "vocalist" on the song as "Syren Lyric Muse." Additionally, the parties are said to have registered the sound recording at the U.S. Copyright Office. On July 11, Lee made a claim there, saying "My works and voice are used on this work." About six weeks later, Drake's label, Cash Money Records made its own claim, saying that the song authored was an "employer for hire." Lee reports that after the song was released, their relationship ended and got ugly fast. The two discussed meeting in Los Angeles, but it never happened. According to the complaint, Drake later sent a text message to Lee that offered her 2 percent of "publishing royalties." By November, Lee hired a lawyer, which allegedly caused Drake to make threatening phone calls.

BULLYING TAKES ANOTHER LIFE TOO SOON "RIP EIRA MAGHUYOP"

A Westchester community is mourning after the loss of local teen who friends say was bullied to death. 14-year-old Eira Maghuyop is said to have left a suicide note which spoke to the bullying, and pointed to one major contributing factor. While the Yonkers Police Department has started an investigation and has reportedly taken the girl's computer for forensic examination, the family is left to try to unravel what lead up to her hanging herself in the family home. Maghuyop was a bright and beautiful young woman who was hiding a devastating sadness. Attending the exclusive Ursaline private all girls school in New Rochelle school, she said she dreamed of becoming a doctor or nurse, like her mother, that she loves music and wanted to be a mom. But the 14-year-old grew so despondent that she took her own life. Nick Viviani, a neighbor of the family shared his sympathies, saying, "To lose a child, at any age, it's rough." Eira's friends were quick to mourn on social media, calling it a bullycide--that Eira was driven to suicide because she could no longer take the taunts. Friends launched an anti-bullying FaceBook page in Eira's honor, it has swelled to more than 12,000 likes. They are also paying tribute through video remembrances. One teen boy who said he went to so far as to dye his hair to escape the taunts said on his condolence video, "I do know what it's like to be that far over the edge, I almost did it myself." The students and faculty at Ursaline, a Catholic School, which goes from Kindergarten through 12th grade, were also in mourning, eulogizing her at an assembly this morning. But at a parents' meeting last night, school officials stated the bullying did not happen at the hands of fellow Ursaline students. "They must have been cruel. Merciless, you know?" said Chris Poniatowski, a Senior at Iona Prep, the "brother school" to Ursaline. "It wasn't even girls from that school. Because she loved the school. It was people over Facebook, Twitter." We repeatedly requested information about any anti-bullying programs that Ursuline may have in place, but no school official would return our calls for comment on the existence of any of their programs. Leticia Lopez, the mother of an 8th grader was picking her daughter up after a day at class. Her husband had attended the parents' debriefing session the night before. "This is a very serious problem. These are our children, this is very important." Eira, who called herself 100% Filipino, was by all appearances a happy teen, professing love for her favorite shows: Vampire Diaries and The Secret Circle. She also blogged about her desire to be a singer. Friends of the family, some of whom work at NY Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center where Mom Faith is a nurse, were sharing their condolences throughout the day. Delreen Fordeis came at the end of a twelve hour nursing shift. She knew Eira wanted to be a doctor, or nurse like her mother. Fordeis said of Faith, "I think she really wants people to see her daughter for who she was." Eira is survived by her parents, younger and older brother and grandmother.

JUSTIN BIEBER RECRUITS LIL WAYNE FOR NEW ALBUM

First it was Ludacris ** on "Baby." Then Kanye West ** remixed his "My World 2.0" track "Runaway Love" with Raekwon **. Then, just when we thought he wasn't going to ask Busta Rhymes ** to be on his version of "Little Drummer Boy," he did just that. Now, pop superstar and "Otis" freestyler ** Justin Bieber ** is turning his collaborative efforts toward another star rapper: Lil Wayne **. Bieber, who is working hard on a forthcoming full-length titled "Believe," posted on Twitter [Link] on Wednesday (Feb. 1) that he had shared some studio time with the Cash Money superstar: "Good time in the studio last night. back at it tonight. oh yeah...and big bro came thru… and when i say big bro i mean @LilTunechi. #BELIEVE IT." He also posted a pair of photos of Wayne and himself kicking it at a skate park -- the black-and-white shots either depict Mr. Carter giving the Biebs some fatherly music advice, or teaching the youngster how to do a kickflip. Last month, Bieber announced on Twitter that he had started recording "Believe," which follows "Under The Mistletoe," a full-length Christmas effort that gave the teen star his third No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 last November. Over the past week, Bieber has also worked with songwriter Sean Garrett ( Usher **, Chris Brown **) as well as Timbaland **, who helped craft a classic Justin Timberlake ** album, "FutureSex/Lovesounds," in 2006. Meanwhile, Lil Wayne just pushed out a music video for his "Carter IV" single "Mirror" on Tuesday, and is polishing his next full-length, "I Am Not a Human Being 2," for an expected summer release. The wise, world-weary Wayne is also serving as a mentor to another teen artist, Young Money rapper Lil Twist, who is prepping his own debut album, "Don't Get It Twisted."

MITT ROMNEY GETS FLACK FOR USING ARTIST SONG WITHOUT PERMISSION

K'NAAN FLAGS ROMNEY: A&M/Octone recording artist K''Naan was dismayed to learn that his song "Wavin' Flag" was used by Mitt Romney in his speech last night following Florida's Republican primary. The artist was not aware that the song would be used by Romney and the campaign is not something K'Naan endorses. "I have not been asked for permission by Mitt Romney's campaign for the use of my song. If I had been asked, I would certainly not have granted it. I would happily grant the Obama campaign use of my song without prejudice." K'Naan is currently seeking legal action so that further use of the song by Romney's campaign can be prevented. No word if he's OK with Newt Gingrich's eletropop version.

((((DJ OF THE DAY)))) DJ SUPERSTAR JAY "POUND 4 POUND CURRENT NY MIXTAPE CHAMP"

Over the past decade and a half, Superstar Jay has proven to be much more than your average mixtape deejay. Stepping into the hip hop arena at the tender age of 12, under the tutelage of turntable greats Kid Capri, Ron G. and DJ Clue, it wasn’t long before Jay was labeled a mixing prodigy. His reputation grew steadily as he jumped at every opportunity to display his skills at parties and local events around his hometown of Jamaica Queens. Like many youth coming up in Queens in what was commonly known as the “Get or Get It” era, it didn’t take Jay long to realize that there were limited avenues which would take him out of the hood and lead him to a better place, those being basketball, beats or the hustle game. Fortunately for rap fans, Jay chose the former two options. As it turned out, Superstar Jay’s crossover was just as wicked as his cross fade. He perfected his street ball game and landed himself a full ride to Buffalo State College. Jay temporarily tossed his Technics to focus on books and ball, but early in his junior year his passion summoned him back. Superstar Jay created the “Midnight Run Mixtape,” a number one rated radio show on 91.3 WBNY-FM. News of Jay’s skills spread like wildfire throughout the campus and around Western New York. Jay became a staple in the Upstate New York club scene and rocked parties from Buffalo and Niagara Falls to Rochester and beyond. Once Jay realized that he could parlay his passion into a viable career, he set his sights on conquering the Big Apple. In 2003, Jay returned to NYC to dance with the big dogs. With his raw talent and hustler’s ambition, Jay’s mixtapes attracted the attention and respect of true rap fans across the globe. Since his emergence in New York, Jay has displayed that his dedication and work ethic are the reason that he has solidified a well-deserved spot as one of the hottest new deejays on the scene. With more than 200 tapes to date, Superstar Jay has independently moved more than 50,000 units. Jay is the hottest up and coming powerhouse in the mixtape game right now. His appeal is due largely to his ability to assemble killer rosters (including those ever elusive unobtainable artists) and deliver quality product. Jay’s gift and entrepreneurial spirit have apparently not gone unnoticed. In 2006, Superstar Jay linked up with L.A. Lakers Forward, Lamar Odom, who offered Jay a home at his newly established venture Rich Soil Records. DJ Superstar Jay has also recently been added to the all-star rosters of Da Union DJ’s and Noize Mob DJ’s. With limitless talents, DJ Superstar Jay is so much more than just a mixtape aficionado. He is a living example of turning a hobby into a commodity. Jay is not just a whiz inside the studio. With tireless energy and enthusiasm he can rock any crowd with ease. In 2000, he partnered with Oh Baby ENT. and Northside ENT. in a collaborative effort to bring rap back to its essence and assist upcoming recording artists like rapper/ actor Storm P (The Cookout, Flava Unit), Clap Cognac (BET’s 106 & Park Champion) and Gangsta Lou (Smack DVD) in establishing solid careers in the music industry. In 2007, Jay was named MTV's "MIXTAPE DJ OF THE YEAR". With several recurring guest spots on national music television shows like BET’s Rap City and MTV’s Direct Effect Jay is proving that he is definitely a force to be reckoned with.
